Review: Radio Flyer 4-in-1 Trike

Ashley in her Trike! This post should have been put up long ago but as usual, laziness and procrastination sets in and I sat on it for a long, long time.

We purchased Radio Flyer 4-in-1 Trike for Ashley months back after seeing several kids around the neighbourhood ride on it. As to every other purchases we made, this is definitely not one of impulse buy. We went to retail shops, baby fairs and as usual, found it hard to purchase it there and then given the retail price and the possibility of Ashley’s dislike of the tricycle. After looking around for several months, we decided on Radio Flyer out of the many brands of tricycle upon reviewing and comparing the specifications with other commonly known brands.

Let’s take a look at some of the specifications one should know of the Radio Flyer 4-in-1 Trike before purchasing. Besides offering 4 ways to ride, the tricycle can accommodate ages 9 months to 5 years. Furthermore, as the child grows older, you can easily convert it from a stroller to a steering trike, learning-to-ride-trike, and finally a classic trike. Therefore, you can look forward to a long use of the product, a rare trait of baby products. Alike all baby and kids products, safety of the child is never to be neglected and with the 4-in-1 Trike, there are safety features for the youngest riders, including removable wrap around safety bars with cup-holder and snack tray, and a 3-point harness. The height-adjustable push-handle makes it user-friendly to parents of all heights (no matter how tall or short one is). In hot weathers like Singapore, the unique stroller-style canopy helps to shield the child from the strong rays of sun to a certain extent. What is even better is that both the push-handle and canopy are removable parts which can be taken out for older riders. Last but not least, the sturdy steel frame and adjustable seat will ensure that the product will last for years to come.

Here are some photos of the Trike and its parts in its original packaging from Amazon and its content.

Hi there, have been looking around for the ride and stand trike but can’t find it locally? May I know what’s the freight charges like and the review of this? And do you prefer this or smart trike? Tqvm

      Hi Pat,

I don’t think I find many shops locally selling RadioFlyer products. I would definitely pick this over the smart trike anytime. The build quality is so much better as it comes with metal-frame body and rubber wheels instead of plastics.

It has been quite a while since we purchased this, so I don’t quite remember the shipping costs. You can try adding the item to your shopping cart and the shipping cost should appear. If you need help with the purchase, I may be able to help you too. We do purchase items frequently from Amazon and consolidating items to be shipped back together can lower the shipping costs. Drop me an email @ to discuss further.
